Canute Badminton Club

Welcome to Canute Badminton Club! We are a friendly competitive Badminton England affiliated club based at Egerton Youth Club in Knutsford, Cheshire and we play across three courts with feather shuttles. Club nights are on Mondays 8-10 pm and home matches are played on Thursdays 8-10pm. Guests are welcome all year round!

We currently have several teams in the Crewe and District league - three Mens* teams, two in Division 1 and one in Division 2, a Mixed team in Division 1 and a joint venture Ladies team with our neighbouring club Goostrey in Division 1. We also have a mixed team in the Premier division of the Stockport league. (*Mens teams can include female players in the Crewe League)

We're a friendly bunch and will have a laugh at club night along with a few socials each season, generally a mixture of meals out, games nights and presentation dinners.

The junior section is run by a qualified coach every Monday evening 7-8 pm except over the Christmas, Easter and Summer Holidays and is open to all abilities between the ages of 8 and 18. We aim to include a mixture of coaching and games to make sure the sessions are as enjoyable and as productive as possible. Many of our Juniors (past and present) have progressed into the senior section of club, played in the local leagues and been involved in various tournaments. As with the adult section the juniors play with feather shuttles and we can also provide rackets on the night for those that need them
